I developed the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago’s UX copy template for ticket sales pages, and adapted it for a unique performance/workshop in 2025


The overwhelming majority of site visitors landed on a ticket sales page after visiting the marketing page for that program. So, the standard UX copy template was quite spare.

Helen Lee/Momentum Sensorium’s 2025 performance/workshop, Curiosities of Wellness in Bodies of Grief and Joy, was unique:

  • 2 sessions with different content

  • Session 1 had a “Witness” ticket for people who wanted to watch but not participate

  • Session 1 required buyers except Witnesses to fill out a questionnaire from the artists


As I adapted the template for Session 1, I focused on highlighting the unique aspects of this performance by:

  • Adding a page header

  • Adding explanatory copy about the witness ticket and questionnaire

  • Adding a required form to ensure buyers had filled out the questionnaire
